Why Christianity?

Answering Tough Questions. Anchoring Unshakable Faith.

In a world of countless beliefs, spiritual paths, and religious philosophies, why choose Christianity? What makes it not only different, but true, trustworthy, and transformational?

This bold and thought-provoking series tackles the tough questions head-on:

  • Isn’t Christianity just one of many roads to God?

  • How can we trust the Bible?

  • What makes Jesus more than just a prophet or teacher?

  • Isn’t religion responsible for so much harm in the world?

  • Why would a loving God allow suffering?

“Why Christianity” is not about blind faith,it’s about informed belief. It brings together biblical truth, historical evidence, and personal application to help believers stand firm in their faith, and seekers encounter the foundation of Christianity for themselves.

Each message explores:

  • The uniqueness of Jesus Christ, not just as a moral figure, but as God incarnate, the fulfillment of prophecy, and the only true mediator between God and man.

  • The historical reliability of Scripture, the resurrection, and eyewitness accounts that anchor our belief.

  • The contrast between Christianity and other worldviews, including Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, New Age, and secular humanism.

  • The transformative nature of grace, salvation, and relationship with God, not based on works, ritual, or fear, but on faith and love through Christ.

Why This Series Matters:

In today’s culture of pluralism and doubt, believers must be able to articulate why they follow Jesus. This series doesn’t just defend the faith, it deepens it. It prepares hearts to engage in conversations, dismantle confusion, and stand firm with compassion, conviction, and clarity.

"Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have."  1 Peter 3:15

Igniting the Fire of Forgiveness

Confronting the Hidden Sin. Releasing the Heavy Weight. Rekindling Relationship with God. Forgiveness is not just a virtue—it’s a requirement.  Not a suggestion, but a spiritual command tied directly to our relationship with God and our freedom from sin.

Yet, among the many sins we confront, unforgiveness is one of the most overlooked, underestimated, and excused. It hides beneath justification, cloaks itself in pain, and often feels easier to hold than to release. But the truth remains:

“If you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” —Matthew 6:15

"Igniting the Fire of Forgiveness" is a soul-searching, freedom-giving sermon series designed to help us confront this deeply rooted issue. This series takes us into the heart of why forgiveness is essential—not optional—for the believer, and how igniting it in our hearts becomes the gateway to healing, reconciliation, and deeper intimacy with God.

What This Series Confronts & Reveals:

  • The Sin of Unforgiveness:
It’s not just emotional baggage—it’s disobedience. Discover how harboring offense, bitterness, and resentment directly interferes with your spiritual growth and relationship with God.

  • Why Forgiveness Feels Impossible—and How God Makes It Possible:
We’ll examine the honest struggle of forgiving deep wounds, betrayals, and repeat offenses, and how the Holy Spirit empowers us to do what flesh resists.

  • The Forgiveness Equation:
Explore the biblical link between receiving forgiveness and releasing it. You cannot walk fully in God's mercy while withholding it from others.

  • Forgiveness vs. Reconciliation:
Learn the difference. Forgiveness is for you, reconciliation is conditional, and boundaries are biblical. This message helps clarify what forgiveness truly is—and isn’t.

  • Forgiving Yourself:
Many believers are chained not by others’ wrongs—but by their own shame. This message brings healing for the past and clarity for the future.

  • Jesus’ Example on the Cross:
We’ll journey to Calvary to rediscover how Christ modeled radical forgiveness under the worst pain imaginable—and why we are called to follow in that flame.

Why This Series Matters:

Unforgiveness blocks prayers, feeds pride, hinders healing, and breeds spiritual stagnation.
But forgiveness unlocks heaven, frees the soul, and restores right standing with God.

Igniting the Fire of Forgiveness is more than emotional release—it’s a spiritual awakening that burns away the residue of bitterness and leaves only the refining flame of grace.

It’s time to confront what’s been buried.
To let go of what’s been strangling your spirit.
To light a match in a dark place—and walk out free.
