Our Statement of Belief

The sixty-six canonical books of the Bible as originally written were inspired of God, hence free from error. They constitute the only infallible guide in faith and practice.

There is one God, the Creator and Preserver of all things, infinite in being and perfection. He exists eternally in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who are of one substance and equal in power and glory.

God created Adam and Eve in His own image. By disobedience, they fell from their sinless state through the temptation by Satan. This fall plunged humanity into a state of sin and spiritual death and brought upon the entire race the sentence of eternal death.

From this condition we can be saved only by the grace of God, through faith, on the basis of the work of Christ, and by the agency of the Holy Spirit.

The eternally pre-existent Son became incarnate without a human father, by being born of the Virgin Mary. Thus, in the Lord Jesus Christ, divine and human natures were united in one Person, both natures being whole, perfect, and distinct. To effect salvation, he lived a sinless life and died on the cross as the sinner's substitute, shedding his blood for the remission of sins.

On the third day, he physically rose from the dead in the body which had been laid in the tomb. He ascended to the right hand of the Father, where he performs the ministry of intercession. He shall come again, personally and visibly, to complete his saving work and to consummate the eternal plan of God.

The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Triune God. He applies to man the work of Christ. By justification and adoption, we are given a right standing before God; by regeneration, sanctification, and glorification our nature is renewed.

When we have turned to God in penitent faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, we are accountable to God for living a life separated from sin and characterized by the fruit of the Spirit. It is our responsibility to contribute by word and deed to the universal spread of the Gospel.

At the end of the age, the bodies of the dead shall be raised. The righteous shall enter into full possession of eternal bliss in the presence of God, and the wicked shall be condemned to eternal death.

We believe marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment between three, the man, the woman and God Almighty

The Mission of Bible Deliverance

In 1977, Bishop Brady Lee Smith founded Bible Deliverance Church. The ministry's vision was to utilize nontraditional means of teaching the Word of God and develop disciples for Jesus Christ.

Bible Deliverance set out to evangelize to and reach those declared "unreachable".  The committed goal was to utilize the experiences, mishaps, and testimonies of the blemished as a cornerstone to exalt God Almighty.

Bible Deliverance is built on the foundation of the absolute Word of God as the ultimate means of deliverance and guidance for all mankind. Our focus is on giving a platform to God and His Word alone.

We are committed to reaching the unchurched, the unbelievers, going after the lost, the forgotten, the disfellowshipped,  the rejected, those trying to find their way, those following false religions, and those who doubt the existence and or the power of God. We know these are souls who would likely never cross the threshold of a church, but who are unquestionably souls worth saving.

We are proud to say there are enough churches in every city and state and we believe every believer should be connected to a biblically sound church that embraces the mission of evangelism.  As children of God, we should never forsake fellowshipping with other believers for the sake of strengthening our faith, learning the Word of God, and more importantly being an intricate part of the body of Christ. When the body works collectively, we as believers can walk in dominion, as assigned to us by God.

Bible Deliverance is committed engulfs a vow of evangelism focused on answering the tough questions, engaging in and teaching conversational and common sense vangelism while boasting the consistency of righteousness as it aligns with the Word of God.

The Significance of Our Green Leaf

The symbolism of a green leaf, with corresponding biblical references:

1. Life and Growth

  • Renewal and Vitality: A green leaf symbolizes life and the vitality that comes from God. Just as a tree with healthy, green leaves is flourishing, so too does a person rooted in God's Word grow spiritually.
Biblical Reference: “He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.” (Psalm 1:3)

  • New Beginnings: Green leaves can symbolize fresh starts and spiritual renewal. The seasons of life, like the changing of the seasons in nature, remind us of God’s power to bring about new beginnings.
Biblical Reference: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

2. Fertility and Abundance

  • Prosperity: A green leaf is a symbol of God's blessing and abundance. Just as a tree bears fruit and its leaves are full and green, so too do those who trust in God experience spiritual and material abundance.
Biblical Reference: “The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. They are planted in the house of the Lord; they flourish in the courts of our God.” (Psalm 92:12-13)

  • Fruitfulness: In the Bible, green leaves often represent fruitfulness and productivity in one’s life. This is a symbol of bearing good fruit in accordance with God’s will.
Biblical Reference: “By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.” (John 15:8)

3. Health and Healing

  • Wholeness and Wellness: Green leaves, symbolic of nature's healing powers, remind us of God’s healing touch, both physically and spiritually. His Word brings life and health to those who receive it.
Biblical Reference: “The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” (Revelation 22:2)

  • Balance and Restoration: God’s creation, represented by the green leaf, is perfectly balanced and restored through His grace. When we align with God's purposes, we experience His peace and healing.
Biblical Reference: “He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” (Psalm 23:3)

4. Resilience and Endurance

  • Strength: Just as a green leaf signifies a thriving, healthy tree, so does it symbolize spiritual strength and resilience. Believers who trust in God can endure trials and challenges with His strength.
Biblical Reference: “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green.” (Jeremiah 17:7-8)

  • Continuity: The green leaf represents God’s faithfulness and His eternal nature. Life continues and flourishes because of God’s enduring promises.
